Support on all levels: CEPE addresses topics from sourcing to sustainability
Looking at the development of the full year 2011, there are still various predictable and unpredictable issues ahead. First and foremost, Jan van der Meulen, Managing Director, CEPE, hopes for improvement in the challenging raw materials situation, to allow growth in the European paint and coatings market. Addressing legislative issues, 2011 is an important year, where a lot of work has to be done e.g. regarding safety data sheets. Dealing with the feasibility of today’s approaches to sustainability, the European association has already started collecting data to support its members regarding all questions about how to measure indispensible figures like carbon footprint.
