内容简介:
William Andrew Publishing was founded in 1989 by Bill Woishnis in New York City. Over the last decade, William Andrew Publishing has supplied the global community of engineers and scientists with a comprehensive collection of data intensive books, software, and on-line products to expand their technical knowledge base. Beginning as a scientific-technical publisher in the area of materials science, it has evolved an expertise in classifying, categorizing, collating, normalizing and managing vast amounts of detailed, disparate and unstructured information.
For 50 years, Noyes Publications was a leader in scientific-technical publishing in fields such as chemicals, semiconductors and microelectronics, environmental, engineering, and many other areas. Its founder, Robert Noyes retired in January 1999, and William Andrew acquired the entire Noyes library at that time.
