【简介】 The Northeastern University Department of Chemistry and Chemical Biology offers education in basic chemistry and modern chemistry-related disciplines.
There are currently 19 full-time faculty members actively engaged in chemical research in the Northeastern University Department of Chemistry. The department is committed to quality teaching and research. The number of honors that their faculty members have received over the past several years evidences the quality of their faculty. These awards include:

Sloan Award the NIH CAREER Award two NSF CAREER Awards the Northeastern University Excellence in Teaching Award the Research Corporation Benchmark Award the Light Metals Award of The Minerals, Metals and Materials Society the University Klein Lectureship the MatthewsDistinguished Professor Award the ACS Fisher Award in Analytical Chemistry; the ACS Supelco Award on Chromatography the AJP Martin Medal the EAS Award in Separation Science
The faculty currently hold active research grants and contracts totaling approximately $3 million per year. Each year Northeastern University faculty publish approximately 70 research papers in peer-reviewed scientific journals such as Journal of the American Chemical Society, Journal of Organic Chemistry, Journal of Physical Chemistry, Analytical Chemistry, Journal of Chromatography, and Inorganic Chemistry.
