The centre has been carrying out research into fundamental chemical processes believed to occur throughout the universe. In the laboratory, the group investigates those process using a combination of theoretical and experimental techniques to help people better understand the nature of the cosmos. On the site, the group intoduces the chemistry science behind the centre's research in a professional and popular style, which mainly focus on such topic as Chemistry of Star Forming Regions and Sweeping Up Cosmic Dust. Apart from that, they describes their experimental and theoretical activities, respectively formation of molecular hydrogen on cosmic dust analogues and formation of small molecules on interstellar surfaces, and gives a review of their work into absorption spectroscopy of PAHs as well as links to other related sites.
