内容简介:
【简介】 The center is a coordinated group of scientists and students with the common goal of analyzing the function of the nervous system, developing methods to restore damaged neurological function, and creating artificial neuronal systems by integrating physical, chemical, mathematical and engineering tools. The mission of the center involves research, education and technology transfer. Research in the center is mainly supported by grants from agencies and foundations including NIH, NSF, PVA, VA, Whitaker Foundation, Ohio Board of Regents, Cleveland Foundation, and the Mt Sinai Health Care Foundation. The core research facilities include those located at the Applied Neural Control Laboratory, the Neural Engineering Laboratory, the Gait laboratory at the VA, the FES Center, the Rehabilitation Center.
