Boston College's Chemistry Department is located in the Eugene F. Merkert Chemistry Center. Opened in 1991, the Merkert Center is a standard of laboratory innovation and excellence. The research community includes 18 faculty, over 100 graduate students, 25 postdoctoral fellows and many undergraduates who work side-by-side in the laboratories.
