内容简介:
【简介】 The primary role of the Department is to provide sound undergraduate and graduate programs in Chemistry and Biochemistry. This involves teaching and research programs based on a fundamental understanding of the theory and the principles of molecular processes. The need for the understanding of chemical and biochemical processes is common to a broad range of disciplines throughout the University. These areas dependent upon chemistry and biochemistry include biology, physics, engineering, natural resources, food and nutrition and various other disciplines of agriculture.
A secondary role of the department is to provide service courses for non-science majors. Several courses of this type are now offered at near-capacity enrollments.
