【简介】 A good software engineer must have not only expertise for developing software but domain knowledge in each application field of computers. Therefore, the Department of Knowledge-Based Information Engineering provides a "double-major" program consisting of computer science and other specific fields: multimedia technology, image and sound processing, human recognition, computer aided chemistry, and molecular design. For pursuing this program, the department comprises five divisions, namely Computer Science, Intelligent Media Science, Education Technology with Multimedia, Molecular Information Engineering, and Molecular Design Engineering.
