【简介】 The Chemical Engineering Program was founded by Professor David Miller and Professor Stanley Middleman in the late 1970s. The first graduating class was 1980, and the undergraduate program received ABET accredidation in 1984.
Currently, the Chemical Engineering Program has affiliated faculty from the Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering, the Bioengineering, and the Chemistry departments. Of the 22 professors and lecturer actively affiliated with the Program, 10 of them have a Ph.D in Chemical Engineering. The program is administered by the Department of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering (MAE).
