内容简介:
【简介】 Cornell's School of Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering has a long and distinguished history of successfully educating leaders for a wide variety of industries and for academia. Their graduates have had major impacts on the chemical, consumer, pharmaceutical, petroleum, electronic, biotechnology and biomedical industries.
Cornell's School of Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering has two complementary missions. The first mission is to prepare women and men for life-long achievement through education in the principles of chemical engineering; to encourage development of communication, teamwork and leadership skills; and to provide guidance on the application of these principles and skills to societal needs. The second part of the mission is integral to the first: to advance, through research and scholarship, an understanding of the fundamentals of chemical engineering and apply those principles to the creation of new devices or strategies for the solution of societal problems.
