【简介】 The Department of Chemical and Process Engineering has 15 academic staff, around 300 undergraduate students (250 full-time and 50 part-time based in industry), and approximately 70 postgraduate students, of whom 60 are part-time based in industry. The Department is recognised for its close links with industry and for its innovative approach to developing undergraduate and postgraduate courses for industry-based students.
There are excellent computing facilities based on the Department’s own Local Area Network linked to the University central provision. Purpose-built research laboratories provide excellent new facilities for research in membrane technology and biochemical engineering.
