【简介】 Founded in 1954, the School of Chemical Engineering and Advanced Materials based in the Faculty of Science, Agriculture and Engineering at the University of Newcastle upon Tyne. A vibrant and friendly place, it is the centre for teaching and research in Chemical Engineering in the North-East of England.
It has a vibrant multidisciplinary research culture with its contributions to scholarship and technology translation being recognised at international levels. Very briefly, research in the School is based on five generic themes:
Advanced Materials Electrochemical and Materials Processing Nanoscience and technology Process Intensification and Innovation Process Modelling and Systems Engineering
Interaction between the themes provides the stimulus for the development and testing of new ideas and innovative applications.
