【简介】 Established in 1900 and the first B.S. degrees were awarded in 1904. Co-op program was established in 1906. The graduate degree program was established in the early 1930s and the first Ph.D. awarded in 1939. It is the sixth oldest program in the United States, and one of the first thirteen Ch.E. programs accredited by the American Institute of Chemical Engineers (AIChE) in 1925. Undergraduate enrollment is 285 in the five-year program. Full-time graduate enrollment is approximately 50 with an additional 6 postdoctoral and visiting scholars in residence. Additional graduate students are enrolled part-time in both M.S. and Ph.D. degree programs. The Departments full-time faculty numbers 13. In addition, 5 faculty members are professors emeriti in Chemical Engineering.
