内容简介:
【简介】 Chemical Engineering is one of a number of engineering disciplines gathered in the School of Process, Environmental and Materials Engineering. It has been taught at the University for over 50 years: the first students enrolled in 1944 and since then over 2000 have graduated. We have a distinguished record in teaching and research and the average A-level grades for undergraduate entry to our engineering programmes is amongst the highest of the UK chemical engineering departments.
Their research has a three pronged approach in addressing topical changes in chemical engineering: Modelling: for development of hybrid models to simulate phenomena that occur at different length and time scales. Measurement: for understanding, monitoring and controlling processes that occur at all length scales, from nano, through meso and micro, to macro. Manufacture: for providing a capability to make new and highly functional materials through flexible processing, product design and process innovation.
