内容简介:
【组织简介】 As with the sciences in general, mass spectrometry has become more international in nature. To help embrace this trend an international society devoted to mass spectrometry has been established. It is believed that the International Mass Spectrometry Society (IMSS) should help to improve communications among mass spectroscopists and between national societies for mass spectrometry. In doing so, it will seek to provide a source of information on scientific meetings and minimize overlap of conferences and subject matter. The status of the subject should be enhanced through membership in appropriate international scientific organizations. The society also hopes to facilitate the acquisition of funding by individual institutes from supra-Government sources to improve the teaching and practice of mass spectrometry in countries where it is not highly developed.
