【组织简介】 EPSC – the European Process Safety Centre – is an international industry-funded organization which provides an independent technical focus for process safety in Europe.
EPSC’s activities are sponsored by chemical manufacturing companies and related businesses with a keen interest in chemical process safety. EPSC currently has 42 sponsors.
EPSC’s activities are directed towards four principal objectives:
Information – provide a forum for discussion of best practices on various technical process safety-related topics amongst our members in order to improve still further the safety record of the European chemical industry. Research and Development – to act as a catalyst in stimulating the required European technical process safety R&D for the identified needs of European process industries. Legislation and Regulations – EPSC plays a key role in providing independent technical support in process safety to the European Commission’s safety-related legislation. Education and Training – provide a source of training information for educating students on safety and loss prevention, and also for training and continuing education at all levels of the work-force.
EPSC was founded in 1991 by the European Federation of Chemical Engineering (EFCE), with the encouragement of CEFIC.
