【组织简介】 The European Society for Mass Spectrometry was established in 1994 to promote and disseminate knowledge of mass spectrometry and related subjects throughout Europe.
The Society operates as a Federation of national mass spectrometry Societies or Groups from European countries and does not, at present, organise Europe-wide meetings. Its role is rather to improve communication and collaboration throughout the mass spectrometry community in Europe, to support those national societies wishing to run major European meetings and to ensure that any overlap between national meetings is kept to a minimum.
In the longer term it is hoped that the Society will act as a source of EU funding to support the provision of training in, and development of, mass spectrometry across Europe.
