【组织简介】 The aim of the Society, expressed in its Statutes, is promotion of chemical sciences and spreading chemical knowledge in society.
In order to achieve the aims, the Society:
organizes meetings, sessions and conferences of chemists organizes public lectures and scientific courses issues its own journals and publications connected with activity of the Society conducts the Museum of Maria Sk?odowska-Curie takes care of the merits of the Chemical Contest called Olympiad awards prizes, distinctions and medals in the area of chemistry furnishes information in area of chemistry elaborates and formulates opinions in all cases connected with development and education in chemistry
History of The Society: 1913, Jan Zawidzki and Ludwik Bruner first tried to establish the Society of Polish Chemists.
1.03.1919, The meeting organised by Leon Marchlewski, during which the Organising Committee of Polish Society of Chemistry & Physics was established
11.03.1919, The Commission wrote a project of Society's Constitution, but finally they decided to create two separate Societies of Chemistry and of Physics. New Organising Commission was established.
17.04.1919, Organising meeting of Lvov Division.
First words of The Society's Constitution: In order to encourage progress of the chemical sciences, spreading chemical knowledge among ordinary people and looking after labour rights of chemists working both in research and industry, we establish a Society named Polish Chemical Society. The Headquater was placed in Warsaw
1.11.1919, First scientific meeting organised by the Main Board in Warsaw
1.12.1919, First scientific meeting of the Division of Lvov
06.1920, Local divisions of Kraków and Poznań were created.
1921, The first issue of The Annals of Chemistry, an official journal of the Polish Chemical Society.
