【组织简介】 The corporation aggregate, Korea Foam-Styrene Recycling Association(KFRA) is a non-profit organization for better understanding of the Expanded Polystyrene(EPS) and to promote reusing and recycling of this material. As a part of minimizing waste and reutilization of resources, it was founded on April 19th 1993 by six feedstock manufacturing companies and 30 EPS foam producing companies with the purpose of contributing to protection of environment through collection and recycling of EPS. Since its establishment, KFRA is promoting the importance of EPS as recycled resource. The recycling system of local autonomy government improved greatly due to the association's support, especially after EPS had been named as a recycling product in 1996, high record of over 40% of the material has been recycled. In 1998, KFRA received 'The 2nd Seoul Environment Award'.
