【组织简介】 The mission of the Pennsylvania Biotechnology Association (PABIOTECH) is to advance the life sciences in Pennsylvania by creating commercial opportunities and public policy strategies that lead to greater understanding, growth, and community support of biotechnology.
The biotechnology industry in Pennsylvania has unique political, financial, educational, and social needs that can be addressed most effectively by an Association dedicated exclusively to advancing biotechnology in the Commonwealth. Representing the biotechnology continuum from the university laboratory to the largest pharmaceutical company in the Mid-Atlantic region, PABIOTECH aims to make Pennsylvania the preeminent center for biotechnology in the nation.
To advance that goal PABIOTECH:
Guides public policy on biotechnology in the state. Provides intellectual, networking, and commercial opportunities for its members. Offers cost-saving group purchasing services. Serves as an educational and information resource to advance public understanding of biotechnology.
