【组织简介】 Mission: To promote the steady growth and general welfare of the biotechnology industry in Alabama and to enhance public awareness of this industry and its contributions to the public welfare of Alabama.
The Biotechnology of Association (BAA) was formed in 1997 by biotechnology executives and community leaders to provide a unified effort and industry voice for the emerging biotech industry. The BAA was incorporated as a non-profit trade association ((501)(c)(6)). The BAA first annual meeting was held in 1998, and since that time has grown to encompass over 250 members representating biotech companies, service and support providers, and individuals from all over the United States.
The incorporators who constitute the initial board of directors of the association are as follows:
