Toxicological and Environmental Chemistry
【内容简介】
Toxicological and Environmental Chemistry is an international journal devoted to the fundamental aspects of analysis, metabolism and general chemistry and biochemistry of xenobiotic compounds and natural toxins as related to the environment and human health. The journal is interdisciplinary in outlook and areas covered in it include: analytical chemistry methodology, the development of new analytical methods and improvement of existing ones, instrumental aspects, automation biological sciences toxicology, pharmacology, structure- activity relationship, mode of action, biological testing when presented in context with chemical and/or biochemical data and explanation biological chemistry metabolism, biochemical effect inorganic chemistry trace elements in food and environment, complexes and metal chelates organic chemistry synthesis of standard labelled materials, identification of metabolites and breakdown products, chemical reactio ns of compounds, stability under environmental conditions physical chemistry photochemistry, radiochemistry.
Contributions to the journal will include research papers and review or state-of-the-art papers submitted or invited from experts in government, industry and universities. The types of compounds considered are pesticides, organic and inorganic air and water pollutants, toxic industrial chemicals, food additives, drugs, toxic natural products, radioactive materials, and carcinogenic, teratogenic, mutagenic and other compounds that display long-term biological effects.
Topics in Current Chemistry
【内容简介】
The series Topics in Current Chemistry presents critical reviews of the present and future trends in modern chemical research. The scope of coverage includes all areas of chemical science including the interfaces with related disciplines such as biology, medicine and materials science.
The goal of each thematic volume is to give the non-specialist reader, whether at the university or in industry, a comprehensive overview of an area where new insights are emerging that are of interest to a larger scientific audience.
Thus each review within the volume critically surveys one aspect of that topic and places it within the context of the volume as a whole. The most significant developments of the last 5 to 10 years should be presented using selected examples to illustrate the principles discussed. A description of the laboratory procedures involved is often useful to the reader. The coverage should not be exhaustive in data, but should rather be conceptual, concentrating on the methodological thinking that will allow the non-specialist reader to understand the information presented. Discussion of possible future research directions in the area is welcome.
Review articles for the individual volumes are invited by the volume editors.
Readership: research scientists at universities or in industry, graduate students

Theoretical Chemistry Accounts (TCA)
【内容简介】
TCA publishes papers in all fields of theoretical chemistry, computational chemistry, and modeling. Fundamental studies as well as applications are included in the scope. In many cases, theorists and computational chemists have special concerns which reach either across the vertical borders of the special disciplines in chemistry or else across the horizontal borders of structure, spectra, synthesis, and dynamics. TCA is especially interested in papers that impact upon multiple chemical disciplines.
TCA was founded in 1962 specifically to provide theoretical chemists with a high-quality, peer reviewed communication medium for their work. The TCA Letters section guarantees review of manuscripts submitted for the Letters section within four weeks of their receipt to meet the need for rapid publication. In response to the need for accounts that assist researchers in maintaining a perspective on important recent developments, TCA also publishes overviews, either of a coherent body of work or of an especially rapidly developing subfield of theoretical or computational chemistry. Finally, TCA publishes regular articles reporting original work. Such articles contain full details of the theory and/or computations.
TCA encourages authors to take advantage of the opportunities offered by electronic publishing and maintains an internet archive for the viewing, storage, and downloading of supplementary material for papers published in TCA.
