Analytical WebBase (分析化学文献数据库)
【检索途径】
Analytical WebBase, the fully searchable database produced by the Royal Society of Chemistry (RSC), contains data from 1980 to date and is updated weekly to provide comprehensive coverage of new analytical techniques and applications that have been reported in the worlds literature.

Analytical WebBase covers over 250 international journals and includes the full content of Analytical Abstracts from 1980 to date, plus equipment manufacturers application notes, standards and books. The database contains over 325,000 records and is updated each week with around 300 new records to provide unparalleled coverage of analytical chemistry information.

The website includes subscription details, sample records and a journal source list. Non-subscribers may search the database and display titles and authors with access to full records on a pay-per view basis.

Closure of Analytical Communications

Analytical Proceedings was launched in 1980 as a monthly journal publishing analytical news, Royal Society of Chemistry Analytical Division information and short summaries of research papers. At the end of 1993 it was announced that the major part of the journal would be devoted to urgent primary research in the form of communication papers and the journal was relaunched in 1994 as Analytical Proceedings Including Analytical Communications. In 1996 it became a communications-only journal and was renamed Analytical Communications.

Analytical Communications has grown in popularity since its relaunch in 1996 as a communications-only journal. Over the past couple of years Analytical Communications has established a strong reputation for publishing preliminary research results on many aspects of cutting edge analytical science.

It was felt, however, that this type of innovative research would gain even wider exposure if it appeared in The Analyst, and would strengthen The Analysts position as a leading general analytical science journal.

Therefore, it has been decided to close Analytical Communications and launch a high-profile communications section in The Analyst in its place. At a time when library budgets continue to be squeezed, resulting in even core journals being cut, it seems more appropriate than ever for the Royal Society of Chemistry to offer subscribers the benefit of what amounts to two journals for the price of one.

This new section will have the same rapid publication time as Analytical Communications (i.e., receipt-to-publication in less than 70 days) and authors will benefit from the established reputation, strong impact factor and wide, international readership of The Analyst.
