High and low frequency unfolded partial least squares regression based on empirical mode decomposition for quantitative analysis of fuel oil samples
Accurate prediction of the model is fundamental to the successful
analysis of complex samples. To utilize abundant information embedded over
frequency and time domains, a novel regression model is presented for
quantitative analysis of hydrocarbon contents in the fuel oil samples. The proposed
method named as high and low frequency unfolded PLSR (HLUPLSR), which integrates
empirical mode decomposi...

【J. Mater. Chem. A】Robust preparation of superhydrophobic polymer/carbon nanotube hybrid membranes for highly effective removal of oils and separation of water-in-oil emulsions
A facile and robust strategy for fabricating superhydrophobic polymer/carbon nanotube hybrid membranes via covalent attachment of hydrophobic polymer, such as polystyrene onto carbon nanotube membrane is proposed. The as-prepared hybrid membranes can selectively remove a wide range of organic solvents from water with high absorption capacity and good recyclability. Moreover, the obtained membrane ...

Novel polyethersulfone hybrid ultrafiltration membrane prepared with SiO2-g-(PDMAEMA-co-PDMAPS) and its antifouling performances in oil-in-water emulsion application
To avoid the agglomeration of nanoparticles (NPs) in hybrid membranesand alleviate the leakage of NPs duringthe oily wastewater treatment process,poly(2-(dimethylamino)ethylmethacrylate co-3-dimethyl(methacryloyloxyethyl)ammoniumpropanesulfonate)(PDMAEMA-co-PDMAPS) grafted silica (SiO2) [SiO2-g-(PDMAEMA-co-PDMAPS)]NPs were prepared by grafting PDMAEMA brushes onto SiO2 NPs surface via the-surfac...
