From November 29 to December 1, 2019, the research group went to Xianyang, Shaanxi to participate "2019 National Academic and Industrial Conference on Pharmaceutical Quality Analysis and Process Control".

With the theme of "interdisciplinary, intelligent and high-quality development", the conference is sponsored by China Instruments and Meters Society, and organized by Shaanxi University of Traditional Chinese Medicine, Pharmaceutical Quality Analysis and Process Control Branch of China Instrument Society, and National and Local Joint Engineering Research Center for Key Techniques of Traditional Chinese Medicine Formula Granules. The opening ceremony of the conference was presided over by Zhisheng Wu, who is the General Secretary of Pharmaceutical Quality Analysis and Process Control Branch.

Tong Zhang, vice president and Secretary General of China Instruments and Meters Society; Kaishun Bi, former president of Shenyang Pharmaceutical University; Yanjiang Qiao, former vice president of Beijing University of Traditional Chinese Medicine; Meimei Yu, General Secretary of Intelligent Manufacturing Promotion Committee of China Instruments and Meters Society, et al gave Keynote Presentations. There are 63 conference keynote reports, demonstration enterprise reports, excellent youth reports and excellent theses selection reports. The participants are all top-notch scholars and entrepreneurs from the field of medicine, with a total of more than 350 experts from more than 120 institutions, including 46 pharmaceutical enterprises and 71 university and scientific research institutes, respectively.

At the conference, experts and scholars shared their own research experience. The conference also aims to gather multiple resources, work closely with enterprises, establish multilateral communication and mutual trust channels, and truly achieve win-win results. During the meeting, the Council of Pharmaceutical Quality Analysis and Process Control Branch, the "GSA Cup" graduate and doctoral outstanding paper exchange meeting on measurement control and the 2019 National Academic and Industrial Conference on Pharmaceutical Quality Analysis and Process Control were held, respectively. The preparation of the national pharmaceutical measurement control and intelligent manufacturing alliance was also discussed.

At the dinner party of "Kang Ren Tang night", the conference presented the outstanding award of "GSA Cup" graduate students'''''''' measurement control thesis, and drew a lottery in more than 120 institutions to reward the qualification of free use of GSA golden near infrared spectrometer, including two awards: "six months free experience activity for university and research institutes" and "six months free experience activity for pharmaceutical manufacturing enterprises".

Wenqi Hao of our research group gave an oral report entitled "Identification and quantitation of Angelicae Sinensis Radix with its similarities based on near infrared and UV visible spectroscopy" for the exchange meeting of outstanding papers on measurement control for graduate students of GSA cup.
