摘要:通常,远离平衡体系中的自组装难以摆脱亚稳态。本文提出一种简便的催化组装方法,解决DNA功能化胶体这一典型远离平衡体系中的亚稳态问题。在催化组装策略中,可移除的catassembler作为催化剂促进胶体组装,但不参与最终产物。通过改变其结构可有效提高catassembler的催化效率。该可操作方法使胶体组装像简单化学反应一样进行,从而形成不同胶体超晶格并实现固-固晶体转变。
Abstract:In general, it is difficult to escape from metastable states for self-assembly in a far-from-equilibrium system. Here, we proposed a facile catalytic-assembly approach to solve the metastable problem in a typical far-from-equilibrium system of DNA-functionalized colloids. In this catalytic-assembly strategy, the removable catassembler plays a role of a catalyst to facilitate colloid assembly without being involved in the final products. The catalytic efficiency of the catassembler can be effectively improved by changing its structure. Using this tractable approach allows colloid assembly to be performed like simple chemical reactions, thereby enabling the formation of different colloidal superlattices and the realization of solid-solid crystalline transformations.
