On Oct. 23th, 2014, Invited by Prof. Yang, Prof. Tetsuo Kondo visited the College of Life Science and Technology of HUST, and presented an excellent speech entitled “Bio-alchemy using water and biological systems”.

    Prof. Tetsuo Kondo graduated from the University of Tokyo in Japan, He holds a dual Ph.D. of the Tokyo University and Kyoto University. Tetsuo Kondo, a professor of Biological Energy and Environmental Science Institute at the Kyushu university, vice Chairman of Cellulose Association, is also the member of International Wood Science Association. His main researching areas include nanometer material design in biological refining, polymer physics and chemistry, carbohydrate chemistry, etc.
