A Specific Chain Entanglement Nature of High MolecularWeight Cellulose
It is known that the solutions of celluloses having different biological origins show specific concentration dependences of viscosity above critical concentrations.

On the nature of the bubble velocity discontinuity in non-Newtonian fluids
The motion of single air bubbles in non-Newtonian fluids was investigated. Depending on the rheological properties of the fluid (viscoelasticity, shear thinning), a discontinuity of the bubble velocity can be observed.

Nature Communications——Transformable masks for colloidal nanosynthesis
Synthetic skills are the prerequisite and foundation for the modern chemical and pharmaceutical industry. The same is true for nanotechnology, whose development has been hindered by the sluggish advance of its synthetic toolbox, i.e., the emerging field of
nanosynthesis. Unlike organic chemistry, where the variety of functional groups provides
numerous handles for designing chemical select...

(Nature) Directional Water Collection on Wetted Spider Silk
Many biological surfaces in both the plant and animal kingdom possess unusual structural features at the micro- and nanometrescale that control their interaction with water and hence wettability1–5. An intriguing example is provided by desert beetles,
which use micrometre-sized patterns of hydrophobic and hydrophilic regions on their backs to capture water from humid air6. As anyone wh...

Supramolecular dendritic liquid quasi-crystals, Nature, 428, 157-160 (2004).
A large number of synthetic and natural compounds selforganize
into bulk phases exhibiting periodicities on the 1028–1026 metre scale as a consequence of their molecular shape, degree of amphiphilic character and, often, the presence of additional non-covalent interactions. Such phases are found in lyotropic systems (for example, lipid–water, soap–water), in a range of block cop...

Photo-oxidation behaviour of polypropylene/multi-wall carbon nanotube composites
关键字:Photo-oxidation, Polypropylene, Carbon nanotube, Carbonyl index, Hydroxyl index Multi-wall carbon nanotubes (MW-CNTs) were melt blended with polypropylene (PP) in order to assess their effects on the photo-oxidation behaviour of the resultant PP/MW-CNTs composites. The mechanical properties of PP/MW-CNTs composites with&nbs...
