Prof.Fangxing Li, male, born in 1945, graduated from Nankai University in 1970. Current profession is Prof., Principal Investigator and Master’s tutor in College of Chemistry, Nankai University. He has engaged in Macromolecular Chemistry and Physics for many years and taught the two basic courses of Polymer Chemistry and Polymer Matieral. His main fields of interest are polymerization theory, macromolecular network structure and synthesis of high performance polymer matierals, especially looking at the polymerization mechanism of the control of crosslinking polymerization process. At present, he has brought forward a mechanism of the control of cross-linking polymerization process, synthesized soluble intramolecular cross-linked macromoleculars, and has published more than 70 papers in the academic publication at home and abroad. Moreover, Prof. Fangxing Li, also interested in Universe theory and Earth’s climate changes, and published some papers. Those papers will also be joined into the website later on. Prof. Fangxing Li has also great interests in chemical engineering, having successfully created new product in many aspects of technique and technics, such as Poly(oxytetramethylene) Glycol (PTMG, the intermediate of elastic polyurethane fibre), Adhesive, A Novel Microgel for EOR in Hostile Environments, High Performance Polyurethane Materials, Resins Improving Alcohol Quality, Extraction of Efficient Ingredient in China Herbal Medicine (Polysaccharides, General Flavones and General Saponins, and so on ).
