Fivephasechangematerials(PCMs)wereselectedandtested.Differentialscanningcalorimetry(DSC)wasusedtodeterminethemeltingpointandmeltingheatofthePCMsduringtheheatingprocessandthefreezingpointandfreezingheatofthoseduringthecoolingprocess.Dependingonthethermo-gravimetricanalysis(TGA),thethermalstabilitycouldbeobtained.Phasetransitiontemperaturesofcapricacidandbutylstearatewerewithintherangeofcomfortableenvironmentaltemperature.ThethermalstabilitiesoffivePCMswereexcellentduringpreparing,curingandutilizingoftheconcrete.Theresulesindicatedthatcapricacidandbutylstearatewereusedinthefieldsofthearchitecturalmaterials.
