Anewcoatingmethod(dissolving-coatingmethod),differentfromthetraditionalcoatingmethod,wasdesignedtopreparecarbonblackcoatedelectricallyconductivepolyesterfibers.Thedissolving-coatingmethodisonthebasisofdissolutionmechanismandthecoatedfiberspreparedbythiscoatingmethodhavethecharactersoflowelectricalresistivity(9.6100Ω.cm)andpermanentconductivity.ThemechanicalpropertywasmeasuredandthesurfaceofthecoatedfiberwasobservedbySEM.Theeffectsofcompositionofcoatingmixture,temperatureandnumberofwashingcyclesonthevolumeresistivityofcoatedfiberwereinvestigated.
