Graphene and graphene oxide(GO) nanosheets, due to its extraordinary mechanical properties,
such as high Young''s modulus, hardness, and excellent flexibility, and low cost in compared with
Carbon nanotube(CNT), have been considered to be effective reinforcements for high-performance
composites [1] A method to chemically functionalize graphene nanosheets by silylation was developed in this study. We present the preparation of composites of poly (methyl methacrylate)
(PMMA) in situ copolymerization with either MPS-GO or MPS-RGO.
