Fluorinatedamorphouscarbon(a-C:F)filmsweredepositedatroomtemperatureusingC4F8andCH4asprecursorgasesbyelectroncyclotronresonancechemicalvapordeposition(ECR-CVD).ChemicalcompositionsandbondstructureswereinvestigatedbyFouriertransforminfrared(FTIR)spectroscopyandX-rayphotoelectronspectroscopy(XPS).CF=C(1680cm-1),aswellasCF2=CF(1780cm-1)thatactedasterminationgroupsofcross-linkinga-C:Fstructureswereidentifiedinthedepositeda-C:Ffilms.C1speakswereassignedtoCF3(295eV),CF(293eV),CF(291eV),C-O(289ev),C-CFx(x=1~3)(287eV)andC-Cterminationbond(285eV),repectively.
