简介：

Thediblockpolymersofpoly(dimethylsiloxane)-block-poly(ethylmethylacrylate)(PDMS-b-PEMA)weresynthesizedbyatomtransferradicalpolymerization(ATRP).Thechemicalcompositionandstructureofthepolymerswerecharacterizedbynuclearmagneticresonance(NMR)andFouriertransforminfrared(FTIR)spectroscopy.Thermalbehaviorswereobservedviadifferentialscanningcalorimetry(DSC).Theresultsshowthatthediblockpolymershavetwoglasstransitiontemperatures(Tg’s),oneat-120CcorrespondingtothePDMSblockandtheotherat65CascribedtoPEMAsegment.Moreover,themicrostructureofthepolymerswasinvestigatedbytransmissionelectronmicroscopy(TEM),andtheresultsshowthatthediblockpolymersaremicrophase-separatedifthebulkcontainsenoughPEMAsegment.ThesurfacepropertiesofPDMS-b-PEMAdiblockpolymerswereinvestigatedbycontactangles.Thepolymerizationkineticwasresearchedandtheresultsshowthatthereactionproceedsinalivingpolymerizationmechanism.
