Biodegradablepolymer,poly-(3-hydroxybutyicacid)(PHB),isoneofthemostextensivestudiesonpoly-hydroxyalkanoates(PHA)family.PHBpossessessomedefectiveproperties,whichhavelimiteditsapplication.Forexample,poorimpactresistantandstress-trainpropertiesresultedfromthehighcrystallinity,andthemeltingrangeofPHB(170-180oC)isnearthedecompositiontemperature(220oC).
