Thepurposeofthispaperwastoevaluatetheeffectofsurfacegraftratio(GR)ofsilicaonphysicalandmechanicalpropertiesofdentalresincomposites.Bychangingtheamountofsilanecouplingagents(e.g.KH-570),aseriesofsilicaparticleswithdifferentGRweresynthesizedandcharacterizedbythermogravimetryanalysis(TGA).Thenanohybridscomprisedofsilanizedmicro-silicaandnano-silicawithsimilarGRweremixedwithamatrixofbisphenolAdiglycidylethermethacrylate(Bis-GMA)/triethyleneglycoldimethacrylate(TEGDMA)(50/50wt/wt).
