Polyvinylidenefluoride(PVDF)/polysulfone(PS)blendmembraneswithdifferentblendingratioswerepreparedbyphaseinversionmethod.Polyvinylpyrrolidone(PVP)wasusedasporeformingagentanddimethylacetamide(DMAc)wasusedassolvent.TheweightblendingratioofPVDFandPSis9:1.TheeffectsofsolidcontentonthecharacterizationsandperformanceofPVDF/PSblendmembranesarestudied.Themembraneperformancewasevaluatedbypurewaterflux,retentiontobovineserumalbumin(BSA),eliminatingratiotoureaandcreatinine,andporosity.Purewaterfluxreachesthemaximumwhensolidcontentis15%.Theeliminatingratiostoureaandcreatininearebetween80%and90%.TheretentiontoBSAincreaseswithsolidcontentincreasedfrom15%to21%.
