Hollow spheres with controlled structure and composition are interesting in a broad area. We have proposed an approach to synthesizing hollow spheres assisted by using polymeric gels. The method is advantageous that gels can favorably bind other functional components via specific interaction, whilst the systems are stable during the synthesis without external stabilizers.
