Smallmolecularlipidandfunctionalcationicpolymericmoleculesarenowofrapidlyincreasinginterestsinpolymerscience,self-assemblyoffunctionalnano-objectsandbiomedicalmaterialscience.Currently,efficientdeliveryofbioactivenucleicacidsubstanceslikeplasmidDNA,RNAinterferenceandoligomerDNAisbeingdevelopedasanimportantstrategyoftherapyforanumberofdiseases,andthedevelopmentofnewfunctionalmoleculescapableofbindingnucleicacidsseemstobeoneofthekeysforfuturesuccessfulgenetherapy.Inthistalk,anewseriesoffeaturecationicpolymericdendriticpoly(l-lysine)-block-poly(l-lactide)-block-dendriticpoly(l-lysine)amphiphileswillbepresentedwiththeirDNAbinding,biocompatibilityandin-vitrotransgeneticstudy.
