Thispaperexploredanewwaytoreducethecontentoftarforcontrollingthedamageofcigarettes.Thecelluloseacetatefibersweretreatedwithcellulase,andtostudythemodificationofsurfacepropertiesofthecelluloseacetatefibers,airflowtestmethodwasusedtotestthedischargecapacityofairflowandmethylenebluedyeingmethodwasusedtotestK/Svalueofthecelluloseacetatefibersbeforeandafterenzymestreatment.Theresultswerethedischargecapacityofairflowwasreducedby4.7%andK/Svalueofthecelluloseacetatefiberswasincreasedobservablyafterenzymestreatment,whichindicatedthatthespecificsurfaceareaoffiberswasincreasedandthefiltrationoffiberswasimproved.Moreover,TTESSprogramofstatisticandanalysisisoftwarewasusedtoanalyzethedischargecapacityofairflowandK/Swalueforprovingtheeffectivenessofenzymestreatment.
