Themagneticresponsenanometermaterial,anew-typefunctionalandsmartmaterial,isofapplicationpotentialinmanyareassuchasbioengineering,cytology,aviationandspaceflight.Thenano-sizedLa-dopedFe3O4magneticfluidwithstrongermagnetismthanpureFe3O4waspreparedbythetitrationhydrolyzationinaqueoussolutionatroomtemperature.Onthisbasis,themagneticandconductingLa-dopedFe3O4-PANI(polyaniline)polymernanocompositeshavebeensuccessfullyreparedinthepresencepresenceofthenano-sizedLa-dopedFe3O4magneticfluid.Thestructure,particlemorphology,elementcomponentsofresultingcompositeswerecharacterizedwithX-raydiffraction(XRD),transmissionelectronmicroscopy(TEM)andinductively-coupledplasmaatomicemissionspectrometer(ICPAES),andthemagneticpropertieswereevaluatedonavibratingsamplemagnetometer(VSM).TEMimagesofLa-dopedFe3O4andLa-dopedFe3O4-PANIparticlesshowthediametersarefrom20to30and30to40nm,respectively.ThemagneticpropertiesoftheLadopedFe3O4-PANIcompositesdependontheLa-dopedFe3O4content.Inaddition,thesuperparamagneticbehaviorsofthesynthesizedsampleswereconfirmedbymagneticcharacterization.SotheLa-dopedFe3O4-PANIcompositeswouldbemadeaselectrical-magneticshieldsandmicrowaveabsorbingmaterials.
