Severalworkshavebeendonewithrespecttoimprovingthedispersibilityofnanometerparticlesinsolventsandtheircompatibilitywithpolymermatricesbygraftingpolymersontothesurfaceoftheparticles.Anewidea,increasingthecompatibilityofcompositenanoparticleswithpolymermatrixbygraftingfunctionalgroups,whichcanreactwithmatrix,ontothesurfaceofparticles,wasbroughtforwardforthefirsttime.Theoutermostshelloftheobtainedmulti-layeredcore-shellparticlesismadeupofPGMA,whichisdifferentfromtheworkdonebyotherresearchers.GMAcontainingexopylgroups,whichcanreactwithmanyothergroups,willlargelyextendtheapplicationfieldsofcompositenanoparticles.Thecontentofthefunctionalmonomer,GMA,inthecompositeparticlesisexpectedtobecontrollable,whichhasbeenachievedbychangingtheconditionsofpreparationinourwork.Inaddition,theeffectsofpolymerizingconditionsonthegraftingreaction,includingthecontentofSiO2,theconcentrationandtypeofsurfactants,waysofmonomerfeeding,thesystemtemperaturewhenaddingtheinitiatorwerepresented.
