Crystallizationofpolyphenylenesulfide(PPS)blendswithpolyamide6(PA6)preparedbymethodofmelt-mixingwereinverstigatedbydifferentialscanningcalorimetry(DSC).BecauseofdifferencebetweenthecrystallizationtemperaturesofPPSandPA6,thecrystallizationofPPStakesplaceinthepresenceofthemoltenphaseofPA6whereascrystallizationofPA6takesplaceinthepresenceofsolidifiedPPSinPPS/PA6blends.ThecrystallizationbehaviorofPPS/PA6filledwithnano-CaCO3wasmonitoredwithdifferentialscanningcalorimetry(DSC).TheresultsofDSCindicatethatthecrystallizationtemperaturesofPPSandPA6initsblendsfilledwithnano-CaCO3arealwayslowerthanthatofPPSandPA6initsblends,respectively,andbecomelowerifmorenano-CaCO3wasfilled. |
