Organic/inorganichybridnanocompositesareincreasinglyimportantduetotheirextraordinaryproperties,whicharisefromthesynergismbetweenthepropertiesofinorganicmaterialsandorganicpolymers.Polyhedraloligomericsilsesquioxane(POSS)andPOSS-containingpolymershavebeenemergingasanewchemicaltechnologyforpreparationofnano-reinforcedorganic/inorganichybrids.Epoxyresins(EP)arebyfarthemostcommonlyusedengineeringthermosets.inpartduetotheirexcellentengineeringperformanceuponcuringandeaseofprocessing.
