Polyacrylicelastomers(ACM)possessoutstandingheatandoilresistanceduetothesaturatedstructureofthemainchainandthehighpolarityoftheestergroupinthesidechain.Encapsulatedsmallerpassengercarengineswithhighpowerrequirematerialswithimprovedheatresistanceanddurability.Anewlydesignedsystemconsistedofahightemperatureacrylicmaterialincombinationwithauniquepolymerizationtechnologyallowsabettercontrolofageingproperties.ThispaperintroducesanexampleofthelatestHT-ACMdevelopmenttomeetsuchdemand.ThenewHT-ACM,Noxtite®PA-526,showedsignificantlybettertearandelongationresistancepropertiesthantheexistingHT-ACMwhilemaintainingheat,coldandoilresistance.
