Novelandwell-definedpyrene-containingeight-armstar-shapeddendrimer-likecopolymers(PSt-b-(PCL-pyrene)2)4weresuccessfullyachieved.Fluorescenceanalysisindicatedthat(PSt-b-(PCL-pyrene)2)4presentedslightlystrongerfluorescenceintensitythan1-pyrenebutyricacidwhenthepyreneconcentrationofthemwerethesame.Furthermore,aqueoussolutionofmicellespreparedfromnovelPS-b-PNIPAMwithfluorescentgroupatthejunctionbetweentwoblocksdisplayslogicalresponsiveswitchesontemperatureandfluorescence.Atlowertemperature,stretchingofPNIPAMchainscauseshighmobilityoffluorescentgroupsleadingtoformationofmoreexcimerspecies;athighertemperautre,shrinkingofPNIPAMchainsisolatesthefluorescentgroupsbetweencoreandshell,resultinginfewerexcimerspeciesformed. |
