AnovelpreceramicpolymertoSi/B/N/Cfiberwasobtainedviaco-condensationpolymerizationbetweenthemonomerSi(CH3NH)4andB(CH3NH)3,whichwerepreparedfromNH2CH3andSiCl4,NH2CH3andBCl3,respectively.ThemonomersandpreceramicpolymerwereinvestigatedbymeansofNMR,FTIRandEA.TheresultsshowedthemonomerswereinaccordancewiththeexpectedstructureofSi(CH3NH)4andB(CH3NH)3.ThepreceramicpolymerexhibitsSi-NandB-Nbondswhilethemonomerunitswerelinkedthrough-N(CH3)-.
