Toinvestigateaneffectivemethodforrefiningthenaturalbamboofibre,theroughnaturalbamboofibreswererefinedbyusingalkalianddegummingenzyme.Theparametersofstirring,concentrationandtimeareselectedbymeansoforthogonaltestmethodtoobtainoptimalchangingrateoffineness,strengthandthecontentoflignin.Theresultsshowthattheeffectofdegummingenzymeisbetterthanthatofalkali.Thecontentofligninwasdecreasedfrom18.98%to7.27%,andthestrengthhasaslightloss.Itcanbeconcludedthatthebio-enzymeungluedprocesswillbeabetteractualtreatingmethodfornaturalbamboofibre.
