Thepoly(L-lacticacid)(PLLA)nonwovenfabricswerefabricatedbyelectrospinning.ThemicrostructuresofPLLAnonwovenfabricsmanufacturedindifferentconcentratedsolutionwereanalyzedbyscanningelectronmicroscope.MechanicalpropertiesandpermeabilityofPLLAnonwovenfabricswithdifferentthicknessweretested.Theresultsshowthatthefibersaremulti-porefibersandtheporesizeisstronglyinfluencedbyPLLAconcentrationinmethylenedichloride.ThetearingprocessofthePLLAnonwovenfabricwentthroughthreephases,includingelasticdeformationphase,fiberslippingandrearrangingphaseandfiberbrokenphase.Themaximumbrokenforce,initialmodulusandelongationofthenonwovenfabricincreasedwithincreasingthethicknessofthePLLAnonwovenfabric,whilethegaspermeabilitydeclined.
