Thewaterandoilrepellentprincipleoffabricsandtheselectionofwater-and-oil-repellentfinishingagentsarediscussedinthispaper.Wool/polyesterfabricwasfinishedbywaterandoilrepellencethroughorthogonaltest.Theoptimmprocesshasbeeninvestigatedandundertheoptimumprocessthewaterrepellency,andoilrepellencyofthefabricweregreatlyimproved.Thestudyshowsthatthewaterandoilrepellencyofthewool/polyesterfabricfinishiedwiththecimpoundofnanoTiO2andorganicfluorineweremuchbetterthanthosewithnamometermaterialororganicflurineindividually.Thewaterrepellency,andoilrepellencyofthefabricfinishedwithcompoundweregreatlyimprovedrespectivelyaccordingtoStandards,AATCC-22,andAATCC-11,andhadahighdurabilitytowashinganddry-clwanning.Thechangeofthefabircs‘strengthandweightbeforeandafterthefinishingaretested.Inaddition,thefabricsfinishedhavegoodcreaserecoveryaccrodingtothestandardGB/T3819-1997.Theinfluenceoftheproportionoforganicfluorine,nanoTiO2,andcrosslinkerontheeffectoffinishingisverygreat.
